July 13 in the Ivanovo region inaugurated the XIV Russian Fashion Festival “Ples on the Volga. Linen Palette ” and the award winners. The strategic focus of this year’s festival – to promote the development of domestic flax industry, expanding the range and quality of products from flax, the creative activity of professionals, designers, and designers working in the industry.
According to the tradition of the Russian Fashion Festival jury headed by its president, National Artist of Russia Vyacheslav Zaitsev . As part of the main show it was shown about 30 collections of designers from the Ivanovo region, Moscow, Vologda, Kostroma, Yelets and Donetsk. It should be noted that this year participated in the “Linen panel,” took as many as five artists from the People’s Republic of Donetsk. Collections were presented in three categories: “student”, “author” and “industrial”.
Grand Prix – signs “Silver Phoenix” – in the author’s nomination received: collection “Openwork fantasy” Arus Baghdasaryan (Vologda) and “Light My collection” Irene Radysh (Donetsk). In the category “industrial” collection of “Silver Phoenix” went to Orsha fashion designer Svetlana Orlova and her collection “Breath of summer”. Among the best student works were recognized as a collection of “The Last Dynasty” creative team Polytechnic College Kineshma and “Linen Party” students of Ivanovo State Polytechnic University Tatiana Grishchenko and Julia Mistryukovoy.
This year, the Ivanovo State Polytechnic University first introduced on “Linen panel,” a joint project of the university with several textile companies.
Materials for creating collections provided KBC “Shuiskys chintz”, “TDL Textile”, “Stellini.ru” Company “Belarusian flax – Ivanovo”. As told before the show Rector Evgeny Rumyantsev , these seven collections meet the trends of modern fashion needs of young consumers and are beneficial in terms of profitability of models of clothes of linen cloths.

As part of the Russian Fashion Festival “Ples on the Volga. Linen Palette “on Friday, July 12th, the XII Festival of Children’s Fashion Theater. At the Court of the Board of new creative professionals work carried 26 children’s fashion theaters, more than half of them were the Ivanovo region. In competitive show included 39 collections of children’s and teenage fashion made of natural fabrics, flax production in Russia “Etnoshik” nominations, “My Summer Dress” and “The magical world of theater.” Art studio “Mirage” Ivanovo Palace of creativity has been recognized as the best team and won the Grand Prix of the Festival – a sign of “Silver Phoenix”. Another 15 children studios and fashion houses have become the winners of the festival.
Winner of Children’s Grand Prix and the three best team invited to the International Week of Children’s Fashion and Arts «KIDS-2019″ to be held on August 14-17 , in the historical center of Moscow, on the main exhibition venue of Russia, in Gostiny Dvor.
As well as a rich exhibition program has been prepared within the framework of the festival. So, in the exhibition “Art crafts of the Ivanovo region” (city of Ples, Sovetskaya str., 41), the exhibition “Avant-garde and tradition”, dedicated to the memory of Natalia Mizonovoy. The Museum of the landscape (of Ples, str. Lunacharskogo, 20) turned three exhibitions.
In addition, Sunday, July 14, the Day of the city in Ples was the traditional Peter’s Fair, which will feature the folk arts and crafts, textiles, clothing made of linen and flax knitted fabrics, home textiles, hats, arts and crafts.
